Dr. Jud Newborn is a NY-based lecturer, author, historian and cultural anthropologist. He specializes in human rights, anti-Semitism, extremist movements, and the fight for freedom in our post 9/11 global community. Acclaimed for his inspiring multimedia lectures and dramatic storytelling, Dr. Newborn has appeared on national TV and lectured coast to coast, from the Simon Wiesenthal Center and San Diego’s Old Globe Theater to major universities and synagogues, NY’s National Arts Club, the United Nations, and from Canada to Cape Town.  Dr. Newborn served as Founding Historian of NY’s Museum of Jewish Heritage, and works today as Special Projects Curator for the world-renowned Cinema Arts Centre, LI.  He is co-author of Sophie Scholl and the White Rose, companion to the 2006 Oscar-nominated German film.
 
       
   
 
       
 

Zalmen Mlotek, an internationally recognized authority on Yiddish folk and theater music, Artistic Director of the nations only Yiddish Theater -The National Yiddish Theater-Folksbiene (www.folksbiene.org) travels around the world giving concerts, lectures, "edu-tainments," and Shabbaton programs. He often appears with young stars of the Yiddish theater, and uses powerpoint projections on a large screen with English language song translations and colorful Yiddish Theater memorabilia.

 
       
   
 
       
 

Deborah Strauss and Jeff Warschauer of the Strauss/Warschauer Duo have a variety of exciting workshops and programs available for children, teens, adults and mixed age groups.
