ABOUT US

GoldenLand Concerts & Connections is an entertainment resource created in 1990 by Moishe Rosenfeld, President, taking its name from the hit Off Broadway musical The Golden Land (1984-86). The agency’s history is filled with many great milestones and relationships. GLCC is primarily a booking agency that specializes in world music, jazz, and theater, that are connected in some way to Jewish or Israeli culture. Among its very first bookings, GLCC arranged for a concert by the legendary Ella Fitzgerald in New Haven, CT in 1989. We can certainly call that a hard act to follow. Since then we have produced scores of memorable concerts, including the Carnegie Hall debuts of Noa, Debbie Friedman, Neil Sedaka, and Mandy Patinkin. GLCC produced the Klezmer extravaganza at Lincoln Center‘s Damrosch Park at which Itzhak Perlman made his Klezmer debut, inspiring the film and international tour of “In the Fiddler’s House.” As a booking agency, GLCC has arranged for  thousands of concerts throughout North America, and continues to enjoy enduring relationships with amazing artists, and amazing  clients all of whom share  a great passion for the performing arts.
