Story
Meital is an emerging jazz vocalist from Israel, now based in New YorkCity. With a deep connection to jazz and a background enriched by her Brazilianroots, Meital brings a unique blend of artistry to the stage, weaving together jazzstandards, musical theater, and Brazilian influences. Her warm, expressive voice and natural phrasing create an intimate and dynamic presence that resonates with audiences.
Since moving to NYC, Meital has performed at notable venues such as ChelseaTable & Stage, The Triad, Ornithology Jazz Club, and Room 623. She has also heldresidencies at The Flatiron Room and L’adresse, where she cultivated an engagingand sophisticated style. Her ability to seamlessly blend jazz traditions with therhythmic and melodic nuances of Brazilian music makes her a distinctive presence inthe city's jazz scene.
Beyond New York, Meital has performed in leading Israeli jazz venues such as Beit Haamudim in Tel Aviv, The Zone, and Shablul Jazz Club, selling out multiple nights. She has also been featured at jazz festivals across Israel, further establishing herselfas a versatile and captivating performer. Her musical journey is shaped by her extensive background in jazz studies, holding degrees in Vocal Jazz and Music Education from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
In addition to performing, Meital is a dedicated vocal coach and music educator, helping students develop both technical and artistic skills. Her deep appreciation for jazz and her multicultural influences continue to inspire her performances and creative projects.
Currently, Meital is working on new projects that will be heard of in the near future.
